Ultrasonic Sensing

The most accurate method to determine steam trap failure is ultrasonic interrogation of the steam trap.  SteamIQ uses a patent-pending ultrasonic sensor capable of detecting microns of movement.  Compared to handheld ultrasonic devices used by steam trap surveyors, our patented circuitry uses advanced algorithms to determine state of fault vs the operators ears.

Our sensor has the capability to resolve down to the smallest leaks, at any pressure, on any type of steam trap.  The dashboard can also allow remote tuning of the monitor to eliminate competing frequencies generated from other equipment in close proximity.
